The Band Hall building was built in 1964 and has served numerous purposes for the District over the years. It lacks storage space for instruments and equipment. Proposition A would fund upgrades and an addition to the Band Hall.

The plan includes adding a choir room and creating a unified fine arts department within the Band Hall building. With more than 400 elementary students currently enrolled in fine arts, these upgrades would help accommodate anticipated enrollment increases in the secondary fine arts programs.
